This individually owned townhouse is situated in a rural, tranquil position enjoying splendid sea and countryside views from their roof terrace and spacious balconies, and is only metres from the large communal swimming pool and lush landscaped gardens. The house has had modernisation to the kitchen, bathroom or en suite, and has modern furnishings throughout.
Accommodation
The large elegant living/dining room is furnished to a high standard, with patio doors to the fantastic terrace ideal for alfresco dining or lounging in the glorious sunshine. There is UK tv.
Bedroom one boasts the luxury of an en-suite shower room, and has it's very own private balcony. Bedroom 2 is ideally located adjacent to the family bathroom, and also has a balcony of it's own. The kitchen is well appointed and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday.
The house is self catering. Toilet paper will be left for the first day, and a bin bag too. You will need to bring or purchase more.
Car hire is recommended, and each townhouse has a car port for your use. For those not wishing to drive, we can arrange transfers from Faro airport to the accommodation. Each house has UK TV and Wi-Fi.
There is an information folder for guests use in the house. This contains a comprehensive guide to the area, restaurants, places of interest and emergency telephone numbers.

Living Rooms - Large living room and dining area combined. Sofa seating and large dining table. UK TV channels. Patio doors leading to sheltered sun terrace with sea view, additional dining table and chairs, and sun loungers.
Kitchen - Fully appointed kitchen with cooker, hob, fridge, freezer, washing machine, microwave, and storage cupboards.
Bedrooms - One bedroom with en-suite shower room and sliding patio doors to small balcony. The second bedroom with sliding patio doors to small balcony, situated next to family bathroom. The house comfortably sleeps up to 4 adults. Additional sleeping arrangements are for children. This house is not suitable for 5 adults.
Bathroom - En-suite shower room to bedroom 1, plus a family bathroom.
Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service - Linen and bath towels are included in rental costs. We provide a maid service twice a week in summer and once a week in winter, this is included in the rental cost.
WI-FI IS INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL PRICE.
Both bedrooms 1 and 2 have their own terraced patio areas. The roof terrace offers privacy and an excellent spot to sunbathe or simply watch the sun go down over the Atlantic. The living room terrace is sheltered and South facing, with a superb view over Carvoeiro and the ocean. Colina Branca has its own private landscaped gardens in addition to the communal swimming pool. The gardens and pool areas are all lit at night. Please note there is no swimming permitted after 8pm.
There are some wonderful beaches close by. In addition to the beach at Carvoeiro, within 5 minutes drive are Praia de Marinha, Benagil, Carvalho and Albandeira. Centianes beach is approx. 15 minutes walk away.
The coastline is spectacular with great views and great cliff walks.
Vale do Milho 9 hole par 3 course is very close by. The Nick Price/David Leadbetter, Pestana Golf Resort (Vale do Pinta and Gramacho) is 10 minutes drive. The Henry Cotton Penina and Alto Club Championship Courses, Salgados Links, Palmares and the new Golf Do Morgardo courses are all within a 20 minutes drive.
Discounted green fees and special packages are available on many courses.
Carvoeiro is approx. 40 minutes easy drive along the coastal motorway from Faro Airport. Car hire is recommended in order to visit many interesting places. There are supermarkets, bars, restaurants and shops a few minutes walk away in the centre of Carvoeiro. The big supermarket, Intermaché, on the road to Lagoa is a few minutes’ drive.
The nearest big supermarket to Colina Branca is Intermarche – only 3 or 4 minutes’ drive away. This offers a large selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, meats and fish and just about everything else you will need to make your holiday easier. However, there is a small supermarket (and off-licence) just 3 or 4 minutes walk away in the centre of Carvoeiro for all emergency essentials and fresh bread and pastries. Cash point machines and banks are available in Carvoeiro.

As a small family business we look after a few townhouses in the area. We live locally, and know the area extremely well. We will provide you with detailed directions to the townhouse before your arrival. We can provide you with local information and organise taxi or/and a car hire. We look after our guests and make sure that everything is in order in the townhouse.

FEB 2023: The initial contact with Susie was very positive as she listened to our requirements and then sent various options for us to view on line before we decided on our final choice. There was no hard sell or pressure just good advice and open communication

The apartment was very clean and a couple of initial glitches were dealt with swiftly and professionally by Susie and her team. Communication with Susie throughout was excellent
The apartment itself met our needs and although it could do with a little updating in places we had everything we needed and were warm and comfortable
The main terrace was lovely with good furniture and a sunny aspect, which we had specifically requested.
The apartment was in a good central location and we enjoyed the walks into the centre of town each day However the number of steps down and steep walk back up may be a challenge for guests who are less physically fit or have limited mobility

Aug 2022 Arriving at the apartment you are greeted with tremendous views across the resort. The apartment it's self was beautifully presented and really was just like walking into a well catered home. You really do want for nothing, great views from the balcony's all the appliances you could ever want. The location of the apartment was close enough to the main center to justify the walk. Absolutely no issues at all with our stay, thank you to everyone who made it memorable. ( Big thank you to Rose too)
OCT 2021. This airbnb is beautiful! It has everything you need to games, beach towels, books, kitchen supplies, etc. The home offers a beautiful view of Carvoeiro village and the water. It has 2 beautiful big balconies which is perfect for dinner. The place is also spacious. I highly recommend it! We loved our stay. The only thing missing was bathroom supplies, such as toilet paper. The wifi is a little slow is your planning on working, but for simple netflix / facetime / etc. It is perfect.
SEPT 2021. The townhouses at Colina Branca are true traditional Portugese style with EVERYTHING ! you need included.... cleaning products, ironing board, fans, hairdryer, ALL kitchen utensils ... even shot glasses and a wide range of crockery and pots and pans, books. playing cards, candles ....we didn't want for anything. The outdoor terraces are amazing and always cool inside the house due to marble stairs and tiles. It is a very quiet residential area and the pool was empty for most of our 10 day stay. 10 minute walk into town. The hill is very steep but we knew this as we are familiar with the area so it was good daily exercise. Carvoeiro is a beautiful small town and the sunset at Carvoeiro boardwalk is a MUST SEE! I would 100% recommend this townhouse and Susie the host was great ! Thanks for a brilliant stay.
JULY 2021. The accommodation corresponds perfectly to the description, it is very clean, has a wonderful view and is close to the city: you can do everything on foot! You can go there with your eyes closed !!!
We stayed for ten nights in number 13 townhouse and it was fantastic ,location was only 5mins walk to centre although it’s on a hill ,with a few stairs to climb. It has a shared pool with lots of sun loungers and umbrellas ,some days we had this to ourselves ,with no one reserving beds then leaving for the day ,near the end of the holiday the pool area did get busy. Susan was always there if we needed her, and Rosa the cleaning lady was fantastic and very helpful. We loved the Colina and we loved Carvoiero.
