Cerro Mar Colina is one of Albufeira's most prestigious establishments, offering peace and tranquillity along with all of the conveniences you could wish for including fabulous outdoor pool with swim-up bar. There are also a range of high standard facilities offered at the Cerro Mar Hotel opposite, including a state of the art gymnasium, indoor heated swimming pool, a Jacuzzi, sauna and steam rooms, a tennis and squash court, all available for a small extra charge.
Within the complex you will also find the elegant Monte Verde Restaurant, offering fine dining. Or maybe you would prefer to relax in the more casual roof top bar, offering stunning panoramic sea views.
These facilities are provided by the Cerro Mar Hotel which is part of the Cerro Mar complex. Guests staying in Cerro Mar Colina apartments may use them for a small extra charge, subject to availability. Please note that these facilities can be withdrawn or closed down by Cerro Mar Hotel without prior notice, especially during Winter months, and we cannot be held responsible if at any time they are not available for our guests to use. Please note that the swimming pool and swim-up bar are not open for use during winter months and therefore there may not be sunloungers at the poolside during that period.
This fantastic, spacious one bedroom apartment is available to rent twelve months of the year, and is the perfect base for your holiday in the beautiful Algarve.
Situated on the 3rd floor and served by a lift or stairs, the expertly designed living space consists of a lounge, dining area with double sofa bed offering enough space for the children or guests, and fully fitted kitchen and bathroom of the highest standards.
WI-FI is included in the rental price.
The house is self catering. Toilet paper will be left for the first day, and a bin bag too. You will need to bring or purchase more.
Car hire is not essential. We can arrange airport transfers for those wishing to take a break from driving, you will find absolutely everything you need for your perfect holiday within easy walking distance of the apartment.
PLEASE NOTE: This apartment is in a peaceful closed condominium with several older generation occupants. We therefore do not accept any hen parties, stag parties or groups of friends under the age of 25.

The nearest sandy beach is just a 500 metres stroll, and the vast array of shops, stylish boutiques, bars and restaurants of the Old Town are within a few minutes walking distance.
There are some wonderful beaches close by. In addition to the large golden beaches, there are more intimate beaches such as those at Sao Rafael and Castelo.
The coastline is spectacular with great views and great walks.
Nearest golf courses are Balaia and Salgados, and many other courses such as Pine Cliffs Golf and Country Club are a short drive away.
Discounted green fees and special packages are available on many courses.
Albufeira is approx. 40 minutes easy drive along the coastal motorway from Faro Airport. Care hire is recommended in order to visit many interesting places. There are supermarkets, bars, restaurants and shops a few minutes walk away in the centre of Albufeira Old Town. The big supermarkets, Modelo and Lidl, are a 10 minute drive. Albufeira has an abundance of bars, restaurants and shops. There are many banks and cash withdrawal machines.
There are two big water parks. Slide and Splash about 25 minutes drive, Aqualand is 20 minutes drive, and Zoo Marine for the whole family within 15 minutes drive. The Algarve Shopping Centre is also 15 minutes drive with its great High Street shops and restaurants.

As a small family business we look after a few apartments in the area. We live locally, and know the area extremely well. We will provide you with detailed directions to the apartment before your arrival. We can provide you with local information and organise taxi or/and a car hire. We look after our guests and make sure that everything is in order in the apartment.

FEB 2022. I had a wonderful stay at this apartment. Susie was very helpful and quick with communication. She arranged a taxi for me to pick me up at airport Faro and even bring the key. The apartment was perfect for a stay in January. There was sun on the balconies all day long, a good table and wifi for remote work, the kitchen was supplied with oven, dish washer, washing machine and freezer - perfect for staying home and cooking if you want to. For me, the location was perfect: close to Aldi/Lidl, close to the old town and close to Europcar for day trips. Albufeira is a bit quiet in January and a lot is closed, but I like it that way. Great restaurants that were open: Taberna Vicentina (tapas bar run by a brother & sister), Restaurante Franguinho de Albufeira (great chicken & very cheap) and Restaurant Atípico (a bit more upscale, run by a French couple). I can also recommend Supa Albufeira Surf School for great surf and SUP classes.

OCT 2021. Large and well equipped flat. 10min walk to shops, market, beach, centre. Nice amenities with 2 swimming pools. View on a large antenna on 1 of the 2 balconies. Not annoying in itself. I highly recommend it.

Spacious apartment, Two balconies, Clean and has everything you’d want, Comfy beds, Lidl supermarket so close by and we’ll stocked, Two fantastic pools on premises, No noise, lovely and relaxing, Can’t recommend this place enough and Susie was fantastic to deal with and so welcoming and helpful.

This apartment is spacious and located in a good area. Would highly recommend staying here. My boyfriend and I stayed for a week and loved it. Great pool with a swim-up bar, 5-10 minute walk away from big supermarkets such as lidl and aldi. It was also a short walk into the old town square. The host was extremely good at responding. 5*
The apartment was very clean and had all the amenities required for a great holiday. Very spacious enough room for a family. Cerro Mar Colina is very safe and the pool area is great. Only negative for the apartment were the beds they were quite hard so that could definitely be improved.
We arrived late/early AM at the apartment so we agreed with the host that we would pay for a taxi from the airport to be given the keys by the driver. The apartment is very spacious and has modern furniture with 2 balconies which both receive the sun. The smaller one in the morning and the larger one afternoon & evening. This is essentially why we booked this apartment for the sunny balcony. The living room benefited from a large TV with a quality sound system and uk stations. A internet streaming box was provided but unfortunately we couldn’t get it to work on this occasion. However there were enough uk stations to watch such as ITV. The beds were very firm and hard. (2 single beds) This did cause some backache for me and my partner in the mornings. We enjoyed our stay at this apartment directly up from the old town which was just over 5 minutes walk (Downhill) 15 minutes (Uphill) The only issue we really had was the steep hill which followed the road all the way down to the steps linking the old town square. We tried other routes but all led to some form of hill. Even going down put pressure on the knees. Coming up required a couple of stops to catch the breath. A bench met you at the top of the steps thankfully. It was tough going!! Anyone with health concerns should require a taxi. The complex provided a rooftop bbq ( top of other building opposite) one evening for €15 which was good value. This included a buffet style presentation and live music. Drinks included wine & juice. The 3 complex buildings also provided a very good selection of pools and snack bars which we used. Overall it’s a very nice place to stay. The beaches are also lovely. (€15 for 2 sun beds with canopy to hire).
Really nice app with excellent balconies for sunbathing. We had a great stay at app 315 and would recommend staying there. Only issue was broken blinds but owner had them measured when we were there so should be replaced soon. I personally would go with curtains. Felt safe in this complex and easy access to old town apart from steep stairs but keeps you fit. We will definitely be back.
Lovely apartment in excellent location. We recently returned from a fabulous stay at the apartment. The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed during our stay. They apartment is a short walk from the old town square although the 100 steps can be a nightmare with a pram. This hasn’t put us off though and we we certainly book again when we next visit Portugal.
We stayed in this apartment for five weeks and we were very satisfied with accommodations. Susie and Joanna were helpful along the way and answered all our questions. We had stayed at Cerro Mar Gardens the previous winter and wanted to stay in the same location again. This unit was much larger and better equipped than the hotel apartments. The wifi was excelllent and the TV setup had lots of options. Albuferia is a great place to visit and we would definitely rent this again.
Big clean apartment with fantastic sea views. EHad a great stay at this apartment, two balconies, very well equipped with every thing you need from the balcony furniture, living room and the bed room. Located at the end of the corridor so no noise from people walking past, we had a great stay and would recommend this apartment. If you don't like walking down the hill to the town center catch a taxi, very chea. You also have a Lidl and Aldi just around the corner. about 6-8 mins walk. One of the best apartments we have rented and the best pools on this complex. Swim up bar cheap and good quality. Went with wife and 16yr old son, all loved it.
Home from home. Excellent facilities in a wonderful complex! Fantastic apartment with all the facilities you could ask for. The 2 balconies meant that you had the sun all day and with the added bonus of sun loungers, it was a great place to have an evening drink watching the sun fade away. It was absolutely spotless. With a 5 min walk to Lidl and Aldi we were able to avail of the fully functioning kitchen. The complex itself with 2 pools and cafe/ pool bar was beautifully Landscaped. There also was the opportunity to use the Hotel Complex across the road and we had breakfast there on a couple of mornings. It's right in the old town with excellent sea views and the square is easily reached through the quaint cobbled lane ways down steps. The customer service was excellent from Susie from start to finish including top tips, answering questions on apartment facilities etc and I would absolutely recommend.

My partner and I stayed at this apartment first two weeks September. We always rent privately and this was the best so far. Beautifully furnished apartment, spacious and airy, the two balconies are amazing, very private with views to old town. Pool area lovely with swim up bar, no problems with sunbeds. Snack bar at pool very good and staff very friendly, we just loved this place. Lidl and Aldi are about a ten minute walk from the apartment, drop into Joseph's Bar on the way, lovely little portugese bar and restaurant, will really make you feel welcome. Quick walk down the stairs to old town square, not so quick coming back up!!! Lots going on , bars, restaurants and street performers.Favourite restaurant O'Mangar, amazing steaks. Booking process easy, good communication, Susie available if you have any problems. Would definately recommend this beautiful well kept apartment.
Great apartment with everything you need for your holiday stay. Clean and well equipped with a TV in both the Bedrom and main living room which has BBC1 and 2 and ITV channels. Great location for access to the town in the evening well away from the the noise but a hard walk back up the steps if you go to the beach in the day. Good view down to the sea (apart form the pylon) and nice pool with nearly enough sun beds. Good information and attention from the agents - Carvoeiro Villa Holidays. I would certainly recommend both them and this particular apartment for anyone looking for a holiday in the Algarve.
Hi! We had a wonderful week in Portugal and the apartment was really nice! We enjoyed staying in the apartment, very good standard and balconies in two directions. I would be happy to use your services in the future again.
Apartment was clean and well equipped. It has two balconies, one which gets the sun from mid morning and the other from afternoon to sunset. The pools are well maintained although being peak season we found the towels on sunbeds from early morning. Sunbeds started to clear from 4.30pm so we tended to go down then when it wasn't so hot. The complex is about a 10 minute downhill walk (which includes 100 long shallow steps) to the main square in the old town, where we loved to eat and walk around in the evening. Obviously there are the steps to climb on the way back, or get a taxi from the rank a short level walk from the square. The Strip is a good 20 minute walk or around 5 Euro in a taxi, although we preferred to spend our time in the old town. Lidl supermarket is about a 10-15 minute walk from the apartment and you can get a taxi back if you don't want to carry your shopping. Susie and Sam from (Carvoeiro Villa Management) the apartment agents met us at the apartment to give us advice on the locality and were available should we have had any problems. Our Damage Bond was promptly returned to my bank account after we arrived home. We would not hesitate to return to this area and this apartment.
The Cerro mar Colina apartment was in a very central Albufeira location, with relatively easy access to the old town which had many tourist shops and restaurants. Note that there is a VERY steep hill and MANY stairs to walk to the beach or old town, so its a good location for those looking to improve their fitness routine. The apartment was very clean and spacious, with beautiful breezes throughout. A hair dryer, coffee maker, a few more dishes and included wi-fi would have been nice. Pools were well kept and managed. The adjoining hotel's staff were very helpful with local and transportation information.
