This is not a large holiday villa, but a small, characterful traditional Portuguese home offering guests the opportunity to experience the authentic atmosphere of Silves.
The house is arranged over two floors. The ground floor features the open-plan living area and compact kitchen, with a comfortable sofa that converts into a double sofa bed. Upstairs, there is a double bedroom and family bathroom with both a bath and shower.
With its combination of traditional charm, modern comforts and an excellent central location, this property is a wonderful base for discovering the Algarve.

This charming traditional Portuguese house has been recently renovated, combining its original character with the comforts you need for a relaxing stay.
The house is ideal for couples or a small family looking for a comfortable and authentic base in the Algarve.
Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service - Linen and bath towels are included in rental costs. Bed linen and towels are changed once a week when the apartment is cleaned.

Although the property does not have a private garden or pool, its fantastic location means you can simply step outside and immediately enjoy the atmosphere of this charming historic town.
Cafés, restaurants, local shops and the main historic attractions are all within easy walking distance, allowing you to explore Silves without needing the car.

Silves was once the capital of the Algarve during the Islamic period and today retains much of its traditional character, with cobbled streets, historic buildings and impressive monuments.
The famous Silves Castle is just a short walk away, standing proudly at the highest point of the town and offering wonderful views across Silves and the surrounding countryside. Just below the castle is Silves Cathedral, one of the Algarve's most important Gothic buildings.
From the house, guests can easily explore the historic centre on foot, discover local cafés and restaurants, enjoy traditional Portuguese and Algarve cuisine, and browse the small independent shops.
Silves is also ideally positioned for exploring the wider Algarve, with easy access to the coast, Monchique mountains, Lagos, Albufeira and many picturesque towns and villages.

As a small family business we look after a few properties in nearby areas. We live locally, and know the area extremely well. We will provide you with detailed directions to the accommodation before your arrival. We can provide you with local information and organise taxi or/and a car hire. We look after our guests and make sure that everything is in order in the apartment.

Aug 2022 We had a wonderful week long stay in this beautiful villa outside Silves. The villa was located in the countryside in a lovely quiet area with chickens,goats,horses and dogs next door and fab views. The villa was very comfortable, extremely clean and well equipped for everything we needed during our stay. The pool was fantastic and where we spent a lot of our time. The water was just the perfect temperature and the depth was perfect for us too.
There was a local cafe which was only a few minutes walk away where we could get our coffee in the mornings. Silves is only a short drive away and we had never been there before but it was a beautiful little town to walk around with a fabulous castle and not as touristy as other places at all. There were plenty of supermarkets and shops to get supplies We visited some of the beaches which were only a 20/25 minute drive away and the water park was only 15 minutes away.
Susie was great to deal with and overall we had a brilliant holiday and would definitely recommend the villa!
NOV 2021. We had a really great stay with the family, everything was perfect and more than as advertised. You feel at home from the 1st day, and we were even able to take advantage of the unheated swimming pool at the end of October! Silves is ideally placed to visit the Algarve, we look forward to staying with Susie again!

Great stay in this villa - perfect location. Villa had everything you need and the pool was lovely.
Amazing villa, had everything we needed and more. Loved the location and how quiet it was. The pool was just what was needed in the hot weather and the bbq was lovely on the warm evenings. Location was superb and quiet, but close enough we could get a taxi to the city.
Comfortable, well-maintained, nice location.Stayed here as a family, two adults and two girls in early/mid teens. Lovely, quiet location, though less than ten minutes' easy drive to Silves where there are supermarkets, markets, restaurants and shops. The villa is comfortable, the pool is great and the neighbours friendly and helpful, if you need help. Susie is also on hand, if needed. When we return to the Algarve, we will certainly see if we can stay here again.

DE: Wir haben zu dritt (2 Erwachsene und ein Kleinkind) in diesem schönen Haus einen perfekten Urlaub verbracht! Das Haus und der Garten und auch der Pool sind unglaublich sauber und gepflegt, es ist alles da, was man braucht. Wir haben noch nie in einem Ferienhaus eine so toll ausgestattete Küche gehabt, für den Hobbykoch bleiben hier tatsächlich keine Wünsche offen - von der elektrischen Zitruspresse über Geschirr, Töpfe und Zubehör ist alles vorhanden und vor allem - sauber! Auch die beiden Bäder sind wirklich groß, die Handtücher und das Bettzeug riechen gut und man fühlt sich sehr wohl hier. Das Haus war für uns drei sehr groß, was super war... für 6 Erwachsene wäre es trot der 6 Betten vielleicht ein wenig eng (aber machbar). Fünf Autominuten entfernt ist das nette Städtchen Silves, hier gibt es eine kleine Markthalle und mehrere Supermärkte, so dass man schnell alles besorgen kann, was man braucht. Die sensationelle Bucht Praia de Marinha ist etwa 20 Autominuten entfernt und war zu unserer Reisezeit (Anfang Oktober) absolut nicht überlaufen und sehr angenehm. Auch die Betreuung durch die sehr engagierte und unheimlich freundliche Susie war perfekt, Fragen per email wurden innerhalb kürzester Zeit hilfreich beantwortet, vielen Dank dafür liebe Susie! Wir würden definitiv gerne wiederkommen!
EN: We have three (2 adults and a toddler) a perfect vacation spent in this lovely home! The House and the garden and the pool are incredibly clean and well-maintained, it's all there, what you need. We have never had a great kitchen in a cottage, for the amateur Cook actually no wishes remain – by the electric juicer, kitchenware, pots and accessories available and most importantly - everything is clean! The two bathrooms are also really big, the towels and the sheets smell good and feels very comfortable here. The House was great for us three, what was great... for 6 adults would trot of the 6 beds it maybe a little tight (but doable). The Nice town of Silves is five minutes by car, there's a small market hall and several supermarkets, so you quickly can get you everything, what you need. The spectacular Bay of Praia de Marinha is located approximately 20 minutes away and was at our travel time (beginning of October) absolutely not crowded and very pleasant. Also the support by the very dedicated and incredibly friendly Susie was perfect, questions by email were answered helpful within a very short time, thank you for this love Susie! We would definitely like to come back!
